Who it suits

For confident skiers looking for steep, often ungroomed terrain, with gentle runs at the bottom for the rest of the group.

Terrain to know

Cortina lists 16 runs from 1,402 m down to 872 m. Hiedayama Course 2 reaches 42°, and the Hiedayama, Giant and Itadaira ridge lines are rated expert; the longest descent is 3.5 km to Ikenota.

How to read this map

Find Ikenota at the bottom first: the easy runs and the night skiing are there. Follow the lifts up toward Hiedayama and Itadaira, and use the Hiedayama woodland trail as the long, easier way back down.
